How do I cite from the Berghof Handbook?
Please use these citation standards (pdf) as a guideline.
TopWhy are there different versions of Berghof Handbook Articles?
Begun in 1999, the Berghof Handbook for Conflict Transformation has gone through a few transformations itself. When the first articles were launched, back in 2000, there were still both html and pdf versions. We have since decided to publish only pdf files, as most computers can now easily open and download these. In 2004, the core articles of the Handbook were published in a first print edition, for which articles were re-formatted, revised and copyedited. We have also added several new articles. For help with citing from the Handbook, please refer to the citation standards above.
TopWhere can I find the authors’ bios?
Most of the articles contain short authors’ biographies at the very end. Or you can peruse the alphabetical list of authors that you’ll find in the left-hand column of this page.
TopWhat if I cannot find what I am looking for?
If you cannot find a Berghof publication on this site, chances are that it has been published in one of the other series of Berghof Conflict Research, in which case you should visit BCR’s “Publications” section. If you cannot find it there either, make sure to check out our sister organisation, Berghof Peace Support, and visit BPS’s site.
